Quantum 186 – Pick up the Pieces

This weeks Quantum is here –

This week we pick up the pieces of what is happening in our increasingly shattered world – the good, the bad and the ugly.  We give thanks for the Queen, look at the Woke world of the Universities, the director of Sydney’s Museum of Contemporary Art, and the Supreme Court Judge; Covid data and news on Pfizer; Djokovic; the 11 year old girl and the NFL star; UK government enforced loans; David Attenborough on Evolution and God; P J O’Rourke; and Springsteen singing ‘This Little Light’…..

Dundee’s finest….

The Queen in Australia….

Peak Woke?

Hero or Villain?

It’s a wonderful world…

Martin Lewis explains….

RIP – PJ O’Rourke

“‘Liberals have a quaint and touching faith that truth is on their side and an even quainter faith that journalists are on the side of truth.’

Attenbourgh not an atheist…

  1. I don’t know whether or not this video about Facebook “fact-checking” relates to the same story in this episode of Quantum but it certainly involves the BMJ and Pfizer.

And on the issue of sports reporters on US television, here’s a story about one who resigned from NBC because her ‘moderate viewpoint is not being represented to the rest of the world.’

She talks about her son at school. He had a Latin American friend. But the school introduced ‘affinity groups’ so now they don’t see each any more.

  2. Let me see if I get this right.
According to Ms Adams, we should stop eating meat because racists who colonised other parts of the world ate meat.
But these people ate vegetables, so I take it we should also stop eating vegetables.
In fact, as these people ate food, it would seem that we must give up eating food.
And, shock horror, they wore clothes…but surely not, Ms Adams?

  3. If one believes that all Scripture is the inspired, inerrant word of God and then consider that evolution could be the manner in which God created, one is left with the question, why did God give us a false account of how He created?

  4. For me there is a problem with evolution – I do not see how it fits with Genesis, especially chapter 3.
I don’t see how evolution could produce Adam and Eve and the first sin. If they did not sin (introducing original sin) they why would we need a saviour and Jesus did not need to come into the world and be crucified.
