Back in the UK, 2007, before emigrating to Australia, I got the windows of my home replaced. As a one-time building inspector I paid close attention to the installation; I needn’t have worried – the workmanship was first class. When I complimented the fitter, a Sikh, he smiled modestly and said “It’s nice of you to notice; most people wouldn’t. But my god sees all so I have to satisfy him.” Would that all Christians in the workplace had the same attitude.
