This was all really clear and helpful . . . until the Dick Lucas clip which was rather muffled by the video intrusions. Sorry to be a philistine but let’s keep it simple. Looking forward to tomorrow – as I say really helpful on clarifying build-rooted / strengthened.
David, this message from Dick Lucas was one of the most wonderful I have ever heard. I’d never heard of him before, but am so glad I listened to this – so powerful. The words he quoted from Peter’s gospel I have read before, but it was like hearing them for the very first time. I hope and pray I never forget it and that God will sow the seeds of these words from Peter in my heart and lead me on.

Acts 17:31 has power! A lot of our apologetics is possibly fixed on the Russell v. Coplestone debate of the 1940’s or 1950’s: atheist v Christian.
Perhaps Acts 17:31 hits very precisely upon how our faith is ever so different, even from every other spirituality or philosophy ever on offer.
