  1. Hi David

I love your podcast and have signed up to support it (though I can’t afford much ATM). How about putting a link in the information box of this week’s podcast (and after that) to make it easier for people to donate? I know that makes a difference to me, especially if I am short of time. I am praying all the money will come in.
Just to save your time if you want it!

    All best wishes

    Alissa McBride

PS I was at Edinburgh University about the same time as you – 1979-1983. I studied Psychology. I heard you speak about the 1981 student election recently. I must have voted in that, as I’ve always been interested in politics. Somehow I don’t remember anything about it! I wasn’t a Christian then. The treatment you had was very unfair, but you have certainly been productive and effective as a minister. A.

  2. I noticed this statement in the Telegraph article. “”In a recent YouGov survey only 51% of 18 to 24-year-olds said they identified as completely heterosexual”. Such a statement needs a lot of interpreting – of what population or population sub-group was this sample representative, if any? What exactly was the question? etc etc but it seems unquestionable that there has been a huge change in the way that a sizeable number of people in this generation of young people think of themselves compared to their parents’ generation
