  1. This is a rather disingenuous podcast. Two elements- the Fitzgerald Museum displays you disparage relate to the colonial elements of British painting rather than anything else. Secondly your genocide denial is extremely concerning. When you get evidence from respected genocide Jewish academics such as Omer Bartov, reports such as that produced by Jewish groups – B’Tselem -https://www.btselem.org/sites/default/files/publications/202507_our_genocide_eng.pdf, and a wide range of international health care professionals. Additionally reports emerging from Israel itself are shocking and suggest that all is not as it is portrayed eg – the classified IDF casualty figures revealed by -https://www.972mag.com/israeli-intelligence-database-83-percent-civilians-militants/. Final point – this current conflict has its roots in 1947/8 not 2023 – the Nabka with its atrocities eg – https://www.un.org/unispal/document/auto-insert-211346/, the continued land thefts, the dehumanising of the Palestinians all need to be considered as factors.

    1. Sorry to disappoint you. That’s what happens when people don’t share your political ideology. Two points – to the Woke all things that come from the time of the British empire are colonial. And plenty people, groups, officials etc dispute the genocide claim. Also selective history does not work – the land was stolen from the Jews by the ultimate colonisers, the Roman Empire. I’m surprised that as an anti-colonialist you don’t want it returned to the indigenous people! You are right the history is much longer than the past few years! In the past 80 years Muslim/Arab nations have attacked Israel seven times – seeking to wipe it out.

  2. Please do some research – I think the reality is that Israel has attacked Palestine seven times seeking to wipe it out. This time with the help of genocide deniers they may well succeed.

    1. Thanks for the advice. I always do research….I read books and articles from many different sides (try it!). !948 war – Several Arab states attacked Isreal after they were recognised by the UN. 1967 – Egypt, Jordan and Syria attacked Israel. 1973 – Egypt and Syria attack Israel. July 2006 Hezbollah attacked Israel. You will forgive me but I have limited time and tend not to respond to time wasters. And your prejudices and lack of historical knowledge put you in that latter category. So I will only permit your posts if they contain things that are factually correct….

      1. I have managed to track down and read the original English version of the report. I note the report is very critical of some of the actions of the Israelis.

      2. Thats the point. The world doesn’t divide into the simple black and white view you seem to hold. Israel is not committing genocide….some Israelis have done terrible things. The two go together.
