  1. WHY?

Is there around one abortion per second globally? Why does the evangelical Church focus so much on gay sex while heterosexual sex produces mass murder on an unprecedented and industrial scale?

  2. Interesting listen.
You should watch Tony Kaye’s 2006 documentary ‘Lake of Fire’ if you can (think it’s on Tubi in Australia). It’s pretty thorough (if perhaps outdated in relation to post-Roe America) and covers the arguments for and against abortion, as well as the history and events/discourse surrounding the issue (primarily in relation to America of course) and includes the actual experiences of abortion recipients (and relatedly, quite graphic and very matter of fact depictions of the actual procedure if you have the stomach for it/don’t mind those images in the mind).

  3. Excellent job! Forgive me for being small minded, but you had said you’d be featuring my book, “Evangelicals and Abortion” on this episode. It sounds like you may have got some of the information from the book. Perhaps that’s what you meant, but I guess I was wrongfully hoping for a bit of needed help promoting it…:(
In any case, thanks for endorsing it and all the help you’ve previously given. If anyone’s interested, here’s a helpful review from WORLD magazines in the US. A few others are planned, including in the UK and Australia. God bless! https://wng.org/articles/a-plea-for-the-pro-life-movement-1723471715

    1. Be patient…..I ran out of time – so am going to give your book its own section in next weeks’ as part of a follow up…..it’s an important book and I didn’t want it to drown it what was already the longest episode I have ever done…!

  4. Thank you David for this comprehensive podcast. Addressing an issue that many of us shy away from. May God be glorified.

  5. Thanks David, a harrowing but excellent episode. To what extent do you think abortion can be seen as a modern-day equivalent of the child sacrifices carried out by e.g. the Canaanites in the Old Testament?
