  1. Thanks for taking the time out to proclaim God’s word on your long journey to Victoria. Praying for safe journeying mercies and a fruitful weekend.

  2. Testimony song [c.f. Col. 1:12-14; 21-23]

    Thanks is given to the Father
    who, delivering us from night,
    makes us qualified partakers,
    heirs with all the saints in light.
    He expels the power of darkness
    from his sight in heaven above
    and conveys us to the kingdom
    of his Heir, Son of his love.

    In the Son we have redemption
    from the penalty of sin.
    We, who once were alienated,
    now are brought entirely in
    through his blood; new-covenanted;
    cleansed from sin, to him confessed.
    In his body he presents our
    resurrected holiness.

    In God’s love, grounded and steadfast,
    anchored, we shall not be moved.
    In the hearing of the gospel
    all God’s faithfulness is proved.
    In the Faith let us continue —
    we believe what Jesus said —
    in the hope of his returning;
    with our sins on Jesus laid.
