Songs for Sunday 63 – On Jordan’s Stormy Banks…

This is a beautiful modern song about the Christian’s last journey – death. It’s from Indelible Grace and should be much better known! Beutifully sung here by the St Peters congregation….

  1. Thank you David, a new song to this Sassenach ! Praise God for his grace that means we can sing this with awe and thankfulness, anticipation and confidence . Jesus our saviour !

I appreciate your faithful posting, daily and weekly . Thank you again

  2. Thank you for sharing this song today. My mother passed over the river Jordan this morning, what a timely and comforting reminder we will see her again, and that she is in a far better place.

Many blessings to you as you boldly share God’s word in today’s difficult culture.

And he said to them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.” Luke 10:2

  3. I love this song. Vastly under used. I’ve also been listening to Indelible Grace almost entirely due to this song.
