Only a mere 11 degrees here in coastal NSW, this Sunday morning. Thank you for your many helpful comments and various ‘Songs for Sunday’, that reflect light and truth. May that great Shepherd of the sheep, comfort, restore and refresh you for your journeying’s and bring you safely back to Australia.
4. Christ be with me, Christ within me,
Christ behind me, Christ before me,
Christ beside me, Christ to win me,
Christ to comfort and restore me;
Christ beneath me, Christ above me,
Christ in quiet, Christ in danger,
Christ in hearts of all that love me,
Christ in mouth of friend and stranger.
5. I bind unto myself the name,
the strong name of the Trinity,
by invocation of the same,
the Three in One, and One in Three,
of whom all nature hath creation,
eternal Father, Spirit, Word.
Praise to the Lord of my salvation:
salvation is of Christ the Lord.

Thank you for the beautiful hymn. Sorry you are leaving and I didn’t get a chance to meet you, it has been comforting to have another committed Christian here in our land, as you say so few.. Safe travelling to you both. I pray you come back soon.
Elizabeth – I am so sorry we did not meet you – on the Sunday I was in St Peters we had to go to Andrews and then I had to rush up North to my mums Everything was curtailed by our getting covid..
