  1. Some useful material negated by arrant nonsense about civil servants dressing as cats, disparaging comments relating to patient safety and a misinterpretation of data regarding grass growth in the savanna environment. Please tighten up your reporting

    1. I agree that it is nonsense that civil servants should identify as cats (if you mean it is a nonsense report – take that up with The Scotsman newspaper – it is reality). There are no disparaging comments on patient safety – the only disparaging comments are for those who think that it is ok to ask a 13 year old boy if he could be pregnant. And the data on the Savannah is solid. Iain you need to realise that just because you want things to be a certain way (or don’t want other things to be a different way) that does not make your wants true. Stick with the facts….

      1. Perhaps-‘pussyfooting’-around serious national problems is the main vocation of civil servants. A cat might be a good team member………

  2. The Savannah greening claim appears to be closer to the mark. The effect of CO2 on C4 grasses appears to have been established by experiment. Not sure the last man standing argument proves the link, But it is probably as good as it gets with the limit of our current knowledges. I understand that The Imperials took Oh Buddha to no1 in the Gospel charts for eight months. The lyric “ We are going to see The Son not the Rev Moon” surely knocks Leonard Cohen into a cocked hat.

  3. You younger generation do not know what you are missing. You cannot beat some curly kale in a bowl of vegetable or scotch broth. Date I say this on your site – nectar of the Gods.
