  1. Interesting Rev Robertson how you complain about how one sided protest is with no one protesting about Sudan, etc – yet you seem to have a very one sided take on religion and culture. – Muslims and dogs. What about Free Presbyterians and breaking the Sabbath, Catholics and Latin Mass, British and foreign food? Please broaden your horizons

  2. David – I despair. Wrongs don’t make rights in International Law. The case of Syria and Israel bombing of one country by another is not justified. This is the sort of issue which undermines the development and application of International Law. In other pieces you cite cases such as Sudan. It is little wonder groups in other countries such as Sudan see disruption, death and destruction as acceptable when other countries get admiration expressed for their similar actions. This is not helpful and is one of the root causes of the many conflicts going on in the world today.

    1. Yes – you should despair….but you seem very selective in your desperation. Would you have preferred to leave the Druze to be slaughtered? International law is a joke….its doesn’t apply to China…or the Muslim states….It also seems a little bit strong to suggest that the Sudanese are fighting each other because Israel bombs Syria!

      1. sadly, International Law is only a “joke” because of attitudes like this. It should apply to all conflicts. The main reason groups are attacking each other is that one group see another group getting away with murder. Sadly, until there is consistency in the application of International Law there will be no peace.
