What an odd “sermon” (if it even deserves that title) from the female Episcopal Church person! A deceased Anglican Canon called himself “an evangelical with a small e….” He took me said once and spoke about the need to focus reading and fix on quality. He directed me to William Barclay’s NT commentaries and John Stott’s writings. I have always found Stott’s wisdom on the bible inspiring.
