  1. A group of old poachers taught me how to fish as a small child. Learning the tackle and baits or trout flies was one thing. But simply doing what they said, often revealed the truth of what they said. Drop the worm bait close to such a ”stone ”, ”tree branch” etc… Then there was an odd one “don’t cast at all here…just drop the lead and hooked worm in the swirling water immediately at your feet below the rod tip”-. The results were often memorably spectacular after following the poachers’ advice. We fret sometimes about evidential v. presuppositional apologetics. But is there always a blinding light of far too much evidence behind faith? “Lack of evidence” is never the apologists problem….getting the sceptic to pull off their blinkers is the bigger issue…
