“For them that honour me, I will honour”.
First viewed this movie in 1980 after having returned from living in Scotland for several years. This is one of my favourite scenes in the movie. Think that I’ve probably viewed it approx 6 times since then. In my opinion one of the most inspirational movies ever produced with amazing music from Vangelis.
How much better the world would be if we all rested one day out of seven, as God did and set aside such things as sports, travel, entertainment etc.
As it says in Tim 2 we’ve become lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; After having viewed the appalling and blasphemous parody of the Lords supper at the current Paris games its little wonder that the world is in a woeful state.
That was great, David
