I believe as the Bible also teaches, that Jesus will return to the mount of olives and reign from Jerusalem for 1,000 years(the day of the Lord) I would bet my house that the Shabbat(sabbath) kept at that time will be the Biblical Sabbath of Saturday. Then Jesus hands the Kingdom back to His Father and the new Jerusalem comes down from heaven to earth, with the dwelling place of God then being with man. I would also bet my house that the shabbat of the eternal kingdom will also be the Biblical shabbat of Saturday. The Bible teaches that the early church met daily not just the first day of the week and it is Biblical twisting to make Sunday now the sabbath! Like many of the churches doctrines, they come from man and man creates a theology, then man makes certain scriptures “fit” into the Theology they have made! Even the word “replaced” shows where this doctrine has come from; replacement theology. Just as Easter has now replaced Biblical Passover and the church changed the dates so they would not coincide with Biblical Passover. The church did this to sever itself from the Jews and in so doing fulfilled exactly what Paul warns against in Romans. Do not forget that the root supports you and you do not support the root. Be terrified for if the Lord did not spare the natural branches, He won’t spare you. The church is a wild branch, grafted into the natural olive tree of Israel. It is high time, she remembered where she came from and from what root. We are on the verge of the last reformation and all things that can be shaken will be shaken. Doctrines of men, will be shaken and the church will have to either move with the Lord or be the pharisees and hold to her doctrines.
