  1. Very good exposition again David of ‘The Verdict’.., and enjoyed the Freddie Mercury swansong, in his final days, and that was Nov 1991 when he passed, being some 33 years ago..!

Denominations always fascinate me, and probably heard and atended about twenty different denominations thus far, as we know back in the day some 2000 yeras ago, it wa simply called ‘The Way’..!

I had the opportunity of seeing Queen Live with Paul Rogers, and Adam Lambert, and whilst the latter was also a great ‘front man’.., no-one could reach the on-stage performance levels of Freddie, together with his gifted 4 Octaves vocal range.., and in 1985 he had the Live Aid audience in the palm of his hands, perhaps being the best and most charismatic performance at Wembley..!

I also have the privelege of seeing Roger Daltrey and The Who live, last year at Edinburgh Castle, previous year Roger Daltrey and friends in Glasgow. Roger didn’t do the excesses of pop and rock stars, and as such held the band togrther, instead choosing to be sober and upright..!

Both bands had an age range of 8 to 80 in the audience, suggestimg a wide appeal across their musical range and talent..!

Just had some very intersting conversations with some lovely Filipino/a folks on the ferry from Bohol to Cebu, as they were returning from a Christian Youth Camp there, and whilst The Phillipines is mainly Roman catholic, with Ferdinand Magellan planting a cross in Cebu, some 500 years ago, and converting what was a pagan nation, these young school and university folks humbled me with their understanding of the Gospel, and the truly humble nature of most Filipinos, where it is voted as on of the very friendliest countries on earth .

Apologies for the rambling discourse, however always enjoy the music and message and may your messages multiply and be heard by many more aroung the world..!
