A fabulous summary! Like the brevity. Interesting, as always, thanks! But how should we then respond or react, in the wake of the Mike Pilavachi and the Soul Survivor scandal? ‘The pillar and foundation of the truth’ should maybe cause us to reflect more on the invisible Church (as in the Articles ofReligion). It’s a topical and troubling question of our time, with practical repercussions. Should we commit time and money to a parish, or does Our Lord see social action in regard to pain and suffering as more important? It’s an ‘end of tax year looming’ question: give some money to the Bible society or to famine relief by mission organisations?
