I suppose that fine book , Old Mortality , is no longer taught in Scottish schools.
I remembered , the geography of that schoolboy, set text.
When I finally fetched up in the Clydeside village of Tillietudlem , I was slightly miffed at the absence of a Scott – described Castle.
Still, a comforting dram in the T hotel was fine. Music OK too :
