My favourite passage in Job. Indeed, one of my favourites in the Bible. I remember quoting this to an Orthodox Rabbi at the Wailing Wall in Jerusalem in 2012, after a Jewish believer in Jesus in our group had witnessed to him, by reminding this Rabbi that Job was one of his greatest prophets, as he prophesied about the Coming Messiah, the Lord Jesus Christ, who had “stood upon the earth”, and would do so again at the end of days, and I would see Him face to face so the Rabbi needed to as well. Praise the Lord!
