  1. I’d just like to push back on the criticism of the sustainability agenda slightly. While it is true that it has become almost another gospel, it is also true that as Christians we should be at the forefront of caring for the environment. A Rocha is an example of a Christian organization which equips the Church worldwide to understand the biblical mandate to care for all of God’s creation as a core part of its mission.

    1. Totally agree…..as I wish Net Zero advocates destroying virgin forest here in Australia, killing birds and endangering whales – I want to argue for a better approach to the environment…

  2. I’m a new listener to your podcast. Sometimes listening to cultural commentary is like watching a train wreck in slow motion – it’s horrifying but you can’t take your eyes off. Thanks for ending on a positive note with music or Scripture, though! Keep up the good work 🙂

  3. G’day again David. Re Transgender issues – could we have your opinion on the people who are born with no sex and how these decisions impact upon them? See for example – https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.1002/bsl.2705?saml_referrer The legal folks do not seem to have considered the people in this position in their deliberations. With the levels of stigma and prejudice around the subject it must be so hard and depressing for sufferers. I’m also concerned that few in church circles seem to be aware of the issues either.

    1. Nobody is born with no sex….there are people who are intersex or confused. The reality is that we should treat any such person as we would any other handicapped person – ie. someone born with no legs….but none of that is relevant to the current debate as to whether people can change sex.
