Our ‘Alive at 5’ has had a good start…..the singing has been excellent – the attendance better than I expected – 50-60 each evening. I am most encouraged by the non-Christians and lapsed Christians who have come along – including at least four people who have never been in a church….. The hospitality, worship, media and welcome teams have worked well.
Here is the second sermon from John 1 we did…it includes the Q and A Last Sunday we looked at the contrast between Darkness and Light in the world – John 1:5-9. And what it means for Jesus to be the light….amongst other things we discussed the Black Dog – depression….

To be honest I was not happy with this….at least one Christian was (in my view rightly) not happy with it as well….and yet two of the non-Christians loved it!
