Boardman saw the funny side and pointed out at least he was a former racist…the Father Ted memes have been flooding in…

For those not in the know Chris Boardman is a former Olympic Gold Medalist, a former World Hour record holder and former professional racing cyclist. And in his amateur days rode for a top Manchester Cycle Club.
