You can listen to it on Spotify, Itunes or by clicking the link here –

(Can I ask you to pray for and support this work.  I am coming under increasing attack and pressure. The cyber bullies have stepped up their attacks.  I suspect that the time will not be long before this is removed from YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and Google (already I have been restricted in two of them).  I also get daily abuse.  But the Lord is working and I am grateful for Christians and non-Christians alike to support free speech – especially for those they disagree with).  One of the ways you can help is introduce this podcast to others – the numbers are continuing to grow each month and this is coming to the attention of others – there is a possibility I will be able to expand it to other platforms…will keep you in touch).

Here are some of the links…

Myanmar –

The EU Technocrat takes over Italy.

Disney produces Soul – a movie about life after death.

But this is a better take on life and death – from 1933!

HAve you invested in Gamestock –

Willie Philip gave an excellent interview on the closure of churches on the BBC Sunday programme

(he is on about 17 minutes).   After which the presenter read out the Scottish governments justificaation for their acts.  Coincidentally it is almost word for word from Martin Fair, the moderator of the Church of Scotland said in justifying the governments actions.

I received yet another example of Corporate Woke virtue signalling and bullying from a listener….this time AirBnB insisting you accept Trans ideology.

In world news Honduras tightens restrictions on abortion, Denmarks wants to censor non Danish sermons, and Australian wine, restricted in China, is on the rise in the UK and the EU!

And a Scottish postman started this craze –

Captain Tom dies…

But a Woke C of E clergyman couldn’t let the dead rest in peace and complained about the Tom Moore cult of white British nationalism!

But if you really want Woke and the re-writing of history so that if reflects the Kensington Progressives watch Bridgerton.

Quote of the week is from Orwell’s 1984

Do you realise that the past, starting from yesterday, has been actually abolished? If it survives anywhere, it’s in a few solid objects with no words attached to them, like that lump of glass there. Already we know almost literally nothing about the Revolution and the years before the Revolution. Every record has been destroyed or falsified, every book has been rewritten, every picture has been repainted, every statue and street and building has been renamed, every date has been altered. And that process is continuing day by day and minute by minute. History has stopped. Nothing exists except an endless present in which the Party is always right. I know, of course, that the past is falsified, but it would never be possible for me to prove it, even when I did the falsification myself. After the thing is done, no evidence ever remains. The only evidence is inside my own mind, and I don’t know with any certainty that any other human being shares my memories.

And then we finish with this superb song – I found this incredibly moving….

  1. Long time since I first heard that song, as an impressionable 15 year old in 1974. I suddenly realised that country music could be cool. But what a waste, not only of his talent but his life. I gave away my copy of the biography of Parsons, aka Cecil Ingram Connor: “Twenty Thousand Roads”. It was so sad and at times so dark it was almost unbearable. A lot of the same could be said of Townes Van Zandt, an even more vulnerable character but to my mind with a more substantial and interesting oeuvre. At least Townes managed to survive to age 53, though increasingly ravaged. Both from very wealthy privileged backgrounds. I don’t think Parsons stayed long enough at Harvard to imbibe much of the theology, whether good or bad, that he was supposed to be reading

    1. I know nothing about it – but it sounds disgusting – and it is nothing new. Sadly these kind of scandals have always dogged the church – as they have the rest of society…

      1. Out of curiosity – If the occasion/need ever arose, would you feel perfectly comfortable placing your child/grandchild in the care of the Church?
Or if no t your own kids, would you strongly recommend such care to one of you r flock?

      2. Hasn’t child abuse of this nature been reported across a great many every denominations/sects?
How would you know which one to ?trust

      3. I would use my head and think – not just rely on prejudice. Child abuse has been reported in every sphere of life. THere is no evidence that it is more likely in the church…

      4. I would use my head and think

Do you believe that thinking is what has been traditionally lacking from every other parent that trusted their church and had their child abused and raped by Pastors, Priests etc?
How would a parent go about deciding whether or not to leave their child in the care of their church in today’s climate?

      5. The same way they would leave their child in a school, sports club etc. Take due diligence. Contrary to your prejudiced assumption child abuse is not rife in churches.

      6. The same way they would leave their child in a school, sports club etc. Take due diligence

These days, yes, I am fairly certain they would take due diligence! My question was more to highlight the falsity of the position of trust the Church traditionally engendered, and the unfortunate fact that such trust is no doubt woefully lacking in today’s climate.

  2. On the Scottish church closures. Not only is the Church of Scotland comfortable with the Scottish Government, it appears to value its cosy meetings with Government ministers, more than it does meeting together in the name of Jesus.

  3. (Can I ask you to pray for and support this work. I am coming under increasing attack and pressure.

Of course you can ask. Although you would probably fall out of your pulpit if I ever donated to your ”cause”
As you are probably aware I am not a great fan of religion and hearing of the closure of churches is music to my ears!
However, and it is a big however – that you are being bullied with the intent of deplatforming you – I think this is the correct term, yes? – is simply wrong and flies in the face of everything that Free Speech and the Democratic Process stand for.

You should be allowed to speak up on matters you feel strongly about.
The more we hear from religious people across all faiths, and especially from professional pastors like yourself , the more familiar and better educated about religion and religious worldviews the average person in the street will become.

  4. APCVA Progressive “Christians” celebrating Victorian anti-conversion therapy bill:

    https://mobile.twitter.com/APCVA/status/1356818233077063683

By way of contrast, I saw your re-tweet of your colleague Mr McAlpine’s discussion of the bill’s wide-ranging implications:

    https://stephenmcalpine.com/the-state-of-victoria-is-hunting-down-the-bad-guys-are-they-coming-for-you

I also read the other article he linked:

    https://murraycampbell.net/2021/02/04/victoria-bans-conversion-practices-despite-significant-flaws/

A very troubling and challenging yime lies ahead for us Christians. I pray we have the strength of our forefathers to endure as persecution increases.

    1. This other article you re-tweeted is the really frightening one though:

      https://t.co/SuJ9VT6c3g

They really think people will be okay with family members spying on each other, violating the sanctity and privacy of the home, children denouncing their parents, etc? Pure Stasi tactics.

This is the next step on from those posters last year. Where are the protest marches in the streets? Has Scotland really fallen this low?

In Australia, one of the arguments for decriminalising sodomy in states like Tasmania – which seems like aeons ago now even though it was only the 1990s, such has been the moral shift – was that it was unenforceable because you couldn’t police what was going in the privacy of people’s own homes. It looks like the SNP has the answer though!

Seriously, at the rate things are developing and the extremism that is emerging with increasingly restrictive laws, it seems like real persecution is a distinct possibility for some of us in coming decades.

    2. Some of my comments apparentky didn’t come down so I will repost this:

The other link you tweeted, about the SNP’s hate law, reeks of the Stasi intruding on the privacy of people’s homes:

      https://t.co/SuJ9VT6c3g

Ironically, one of the arguments advocates of decriminalising homosexual activity in the 1990s was that it was an unenforceable law because uiucould not police what people did in the privacy of their own homes.

Do you think Plaid Cymru would ve as bad as this if they were in power in Wales? On paper, their policies are very similar to the SNP. I hope they would not descend into the same authoritarian liberal madness.

      1. That legislation sounds terrifying. Do you think it is a case of (deliberate) malice or incompetence (badly worded legislation) on the SNP’s part, Pastor?

By the way, I just had a look at Vote Compass for the 2019 UK ekection and the SNP and Plaid are plotted as non-authoritarian parties on the grid’s axis!
