Evangelism Jesus Christ Preaching St Peters Worship

The Four Verbs of Salvation (Romans 8:1-4); God’s Charge Against the Church (Jeremiah 2) – Worship from St Peters, 20th Jan 2019

Last Sunday morning I had intended to look at the first 13 verses of Romans 8 – as it was we only got the first four done! But it is a remarkable passage which makes the Gospel very clear:

Songs: 1) I will enter his gates 2) Light of the world 3) Saviour of the World 4) Ps 119:17-24 5) Just as I am

Scripture: Acts 16:1-15; Psalm 119:17-24

Sermon: Romans 8:1-4 – The Four Verbs of Salvation.

Just as I am without one plea,

But that thy blood was shed for me,

And that thou bidst me come to thee,

O Lamb of God I come.

And in the evening we continued to look at Jeremiah….this time chapter 2 –

Songs: O Praise the Name; Christ is Mine Forevermore; Ps 36:5-10; Hear the Call of the Kingdom.

Scripture: Daniel 7

Sermon:  Jeremiah 2 – God’s Charge Against the Church

“Memorable to me as the anniversary of my beloved Isabella’s departure to be with Christ. And now my son’s son, a child of three days old, has been taken from them. Broken cisterns, broken cisterns all around; but the fountain remains full.” Andrew Bonar

Romans 9 – The New People and the Stumbling Stone; Jeremiah 1 – God’s Call; Baptism of Caleb Hartnett – St Peters 13th Jan 2019

Here are some of the illustrations from Jeremiah 2 (Thanks to Al Smith for his work!).

Please give me a hint on how you got to put the emphasis into the 9?
Where is the thing that makes letters Bold and/or turns them into italics?
Thank you for any eventual hint.
      Warm regards,
      Edouard.
