Last Sunday I was at the IFES conference in Barcelona so Sinclair preached at the morning service and Andy Bannister in the evening…if you benefit from listening to this as much as I have then you will be blessed…
In the evening we had an emphasis on Solas which, under the direction of Andy, is growing and developing – they had just had a very successful conference at Central Baptist the previous Saturday…
This Sunday is Remembrance Sunday….I have found this hymn from New Scottish Hymns to be particularly appropriate
I also thought that this poem from this months Record is apposite :
Harvest Thanksgiving, a Baptism, Ps 139, Romans 8:35-39 and God Made Humanity, Male and Female.
You have Remembrance Day, and we have Veterans Day. No matter the name, we are honoring those who served and sacrificed. Thank you for this post, especially the poem.
