  1. Thank you. I found the American College of Pediatricians link helpful however I think it may be worth being aware that the ACP is not the American equivalent of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health as I initially assumed. It doesn’t have any particular authority over paediatric practice.

  2. The 20% figure for Church of Scotland membership in that survey is wildly innacurate.
C of S membership is about 400,000 which is 7.5% of the total population of Scotland.
Not sure about this as a percentage of the adult population.
Some of the members in that 400,000 are overseas too (maybe a few thousand).
Their General Assembly will no doubt release new figures in May, although the move seems to be to measure sphere of influence (number of families engaged with during funerals, number of facebook interactions etc).

As for church attendance, based on movements n my street on a Sunday morning it seems to be about two households of fifty or so. In poorer areas I would expect it to be less.

Evangelical churches may be growing, but they are a mixed bag. One of the larger ones has invited Creflo Dollar over here in June. Its hard to see the relevance of his message unless the church involved is trying to be like his.
