I am a big fan of your work and appreciate that you are currently one of Scotland’s leading defenders of the Christian faith at the moment. I have been to a few of your talks and have greatly enjoyed them. A friend I have been talking to about Christianity ( a non- believer at present) sent me this interesting article this morning, I was wondering if you could have a read and tell me what you think about it: http://www.returnofkings.com/68068/philosophical-approaches-to-proving-the-existence-of-god
He has mentioned that he enjoyed watching William lane Craig’s debates before and is interested in philosophy in general. My question to you is this- where do I go from here or how can I further encourage this friend without being too ” pushy” ? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
I am not a great fan of the traditional theistic proofs – although they have their uses. I would be happy to discuss these with a non-Christian friend but I would want to move on to Jesus Christ ASAP – thats why I wrote Magnificent Obsession…
